Join us in the lead up to Christmas and make your own willow wreath to decorate your home with.

The session will include a walk into the nature reserve to gather extra supplies for decorating your wreaths. Inside the centre we will have willow whips already cut, and will demonstrate how to weave the willow into a wreath shape, and you can adorn it with a range of decorations including holly, ivy and fern branches, pinecones etc. All materials provided including gloves.

Mince pies and a hot drink provided, please let us know of any allergies or intolerances in advance. We will be under the shelter (or inside the Centre if very cold/wet!) so please dress accordingly – we recommend layers, a waterproof and sturdy walking boots or wellies.

14+ accompanied by an adult, tickets are required for all attendees.

Please meet at the Education Centre. Look out for the HIWWT flag.

Booking is essential via Eventbrite.

If you have any questions please contact Blashfordlakes@hiwwt.org.uk or ring the Education Centre on 01425 472760
