The latest intelligence from the North Pole confirms that Father Christmas will be returning to Bletchley Park this December. This year, he has enlisted the help of a few extra friends who will bring the secret world of A Codebreakers’ Christmas to life for all the family.
Tickets £15 - £16.75 per person (adults and children)
Tickets include day access to explore Bletchley Park, timed entry to the Grotto, Christmas activities, a meeting with Father Christmas, and gifts for children attending. Please see below for important ticket information.
VINTAGE CHRISTMAS GROTTO
Meet Father Christmas and be transported into the truly magical world of Bletchley Park's Vintage Grotto.
Book your timeslot for entrance to the Grotto, located inside Bletchley Park’s Victorian Mansion, where families will meet Father Christmas and children will receive a special gift.
Enter the Grotto at your booked time to meet one of the North Pole’s secret operatives, who will lead you in some fun, festive activities.
Individual families will have their own magical time with Father Christmas, for children to share their Christmas wishes and receive a special gift to take home. Photos are welcome, and one of Father Christmas’ helpers will be on hand to take the perfect shot for you.
But the journey doesn’t end there!
Your tickets include day entry to Bletchley Park, where top-secret Christmas activities are taking place. Will you discover them all?

- Codebreakers at Christmas
Explore this very special place and discover its secrets. You may even encounter some characters from wartime Bletchley Park carrying out their top-secret activities during Christmas ... Can you help them "keep calm and carry on?"
- A Christmas Carol
Codebreakers of the Bletchley Park Recreational Society are in rehearsal for their winter production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. They may need help remembering their lines or locating some props – take on this mission and help them prepare for opening night.
- Vintage Christmas Crafts
The craftiest of the Bletchley Park team, in between their important work of breaking codes, have taken over one of the huts and are making Christmas decorations. They are using any scrap paper they can find, including old coded messages. Join them to craft your own 1940s-inspired Christmas decorations to take home. All ages welcome.
- Indulge in a Festive Treat
Don’t forget to pop by Hut 4 Café and the Block C Coffee Shop for a hot drink and a slice of festive cheer. Who spies mince pies?
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Prices are £15 - £16.75 per person.
- Tickets provide timed entry to the Vintage Christmas Grotto and day access to Bletchley Park.
- You must arrive at the entrance of the Vintage Christmas Grotto at the start of your chosen time slot. Depending on availability, latecomers may not be permitted. Please note that the location of the Grotto is approximately a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of Bletchley Park.
- There is a maximum of three family groups per time slot, with each family group having individual time with Father Christmas.
- A maximum of four children and four adults are allowed per family group. If you would like to make a booking for a larger group, please call our Bookings team on
