Event description
This webinar looks at how unconscious bias can create barriers to fair and diverse recruitment.

About this Event

Bias and prejudices can impede career progression by seeping into the key area of recruitment.

Diverse workforces are key to better organisational performance, as they are more resilient to change, more creative and dynamic and therefore better able to outperform competitors.

Many of us are still unaware of the different ways that our ingrained attitudes, behaviours and biases can show up in the recruitment process and interview room, stopping us from making rational and fair judgements.

Join Spot The Gap founder, Alex Marshall, for this informational webinar, which includes:

  • Where and why bias and prejudices show up in the recruitment and interview process.
  • Key recruitment pillars (advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and job offers) and how to avoid bias.
  • Four ways you can bias-proof your recruitment process to make it fairer to candidates.

The webinar is informational in format and includes time for Q&A.

Please note this webinar does not include formal unconscious bias training.
