Welcome to BLK: CURRENT's first poetry and open mic event, R.I.S.E. (Rich In Spirit & Energy).
Over the past few months, Syl (Blk Current Facilitator) has been leading workshops with poets from the city and wider West Midlands area, exploring themes, different prompts and styles. Some of these poets will be showcasing some of their work.
The showcase will be followed by an open mic. Performers and poets are encouraged to show up and participate - contact us if you fancy it!

Ticket Info: Tickets are free/pay as you feel, but booking is mandatory.
Refreshments will be available to purchase at the Sense Cafe until 2:30pm
