S4 Literature search and review in the humanities - Dr Leonie Hicks - Tuesday 31st October, 3.15-4.45pm Room Lg45

The term ‘literature review’ causes anxiety. This session aims to demystify the term and explain what it involves. The session will also cover tips on writing a piece that summarises the scholarship in your field.


S5 Literature search and review in the humanities (library led) - Library Services - Tuesday 31st October, 5pm-6.30pm Room Rf02(IT)

The library will cover fundamental elements of a literature search and review through the online search


S6 Navigating the Archives - The National Archives - Paul Dryburgh - Tuesday 7th November 10am-4pm

TNA will be joining us to introduce their online catalogue. The interactive session will include practical exercises. It will cover all periods and geographical areas.
