This workshop is a great way to get started with the art of block printing. We will be using easy to carve thick rubber blocks which are perfect for printing your own cards, wrapping paper, t-shirts, tea towels and table cloths. I will teach you how to use the tools, create and carve your own designs and then ink and print your stamps ready to take home. All the tools and equipment you need will be provided and workshops will be held at the Make and Mend Festival on the 18th October at Hornsey Parish Church Hall, Muswell Hill.
These workshops are designed for adults although children over the age of 8 may attend with their parent/guardian booking a space each.
Each place costs £45 and includes all materials used on the day. You will take home all your small rubber stamps (equivalent to an A6 lino cutting) as well as any prints or cards made on the day. You can then continue using your stamp to make lots of prints and gifts for friends and loved ones.
The workshop is 2 hours 45 minutes long and will start at 1.30pm and finish at 4.30pm with a 15 minute break in between.
