BLOCK PRINTING WITH YATELEY PAPERS
Sat 12 November 2016, 11:00 – 17:00 GMT
We like to ask everyone to give some thought prior as to where their shade will be going and bring along some reference/colours/textures etc.
Empire and Coolie Lampshades can be quite tricky to perfect but we are confident that all abilities will be able to successfully produce stunning results and we will be on-hand to assist every step of the way.
Each student will be given a choice of shade size:
A pair of small Candle Clip Shades approx 14cm d (approx 13cm h) - suitable for ceiling, wall or table lamp fitting and totally doable for the less confident!
A 30cm d (approx 20cm h) Coolie Shade - this is the classic and stylish reading lampshade (it sits on a shade carrier, we will have a few available to purchase at a small extra cost of £2.50 if required).
We will also have additional fixings available if students wish to purchase from us and/or we can furnish details where to buy directly.
Each class starts with a brief run-through, a small ‘mood’ board will show various shade shapes with and without contrasting trim etc. Q&A session.
