How can blockchain be best used for financial transactions?

  • What do blockchain and cryptocurrency mean for the future of payments, and for the world of banking?
  • What could Facebook’s Libra do to how payments are transacted?
  • What’s the potential likelihood of a global stable currency?
  • What might be next for digital currency, looking at how the free, instant micropayments that are now available with cryptocurrency could affect digital purchasing?

Come to this event to hear and discuss some real life, working use cases in the fast-evolving world of blockchain and cryptocurrency.

Our expert presenters are:

ERICA STANFORD – Founder, Crypto Curry Club

Erica is an international speaker on blockchain, digital currency and emerging technology and is the founder of the Crypto Curry Club and CCC Events, the UK's no.1 rated blockchain, crypto and tech networking and educational events which take place in London, Bristol, Oxford and soon Cambridge.

Erica is particularly interested in how blockchain, crypto and tech can be used for sustainability - to hold companies accountable about their practices to force a reduction in waste.

ROB LEARNEY PhD MRCS - Lead Technologist, Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Tech, Digital Catapult
