Event description
This half-day conference focuses on the blockchain infrastructure needed for digital assets, crypto currencies and the future of finance.

About this Event

This event highlights how leading projects and institutions are using or plan to use blockchain infrastructure to bring about structural changes within the financial ecosystem. Additionally, the upcoming regulation will be discussed.

Most traditional banks and leading financial institutions have investigated blockchain technology and are currently making progress in tokenizing conventional financial asset classes. But highly secure technology and sophisticated processes will be needed to secure keys and automate both the handling of digital assets as well as audit and other governance processes.

So, it is undoubtedly right to say that regulatory compliant crypto custody and trading solutions, as well as the regulatory classification of tokens, are the missing pieces of the puzzle to kick-start this upcoming paradigm shift towards the token economy.

With the tokenization of traditional financial assets and new token designs leading to stable coins, security token platforms and other tokenized assets, financial institutions now have to act and institutionalize these crypto assets. We will give an overview of custodial solutions, and show how crypto assets can be managed in a safe, secure, trusted and regulated way to pave the way for new growth opportunities and business models, not only along the traditional financial value chain, but also well beyond – by tokenizing assets that have not been bankable so far.

Through the conference we aim to provide examples and answers on the following topics:

  1. Which are the relevant developments in the blockchain services ecosystem, e.g. custody providers, trading infrastructure?
  2. How scalable and secure are these digital asset management technology platforms?
  3. What is the regulatory roadmap for blockchain infrastructure solution providers e.g custody providers or trading infrastructure providers over the next few years?
  4. Who are interesting players in the German-speaking markets and which financial institutions are best prepared to lead the token economy?
  5. Lastly an overview on other new fintech innovations that aim to streamline payment services and other aspects within the financial ecosystem.

Through the participation of a few interesting companies from the blockchain and fintech sector as speakers and panel discussion participants, we are aiming to broaden the discussion as well as drive trust and accelerate the adoption of digital assets by institutional clients. We believe this could lead to a truly open global financial system as envisioned by blockchain and lead to greater innovation, and efficiency within the global financial system.
