Event description

Description

15-20 May 2018

For May 2018, we have set you the ultimate challenge: to cycle from London to the WFH World Congress 2018 in Glasgow.

What is it?

As co-hosts of the Congress, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey. Taking part in the days leading up to the opening of the Congress, participants will cycle from our Head office in London to the front door of the SECC in Glasgow to be part of the wonderful events planned for this once in a lifetime conference.

Our volunteer Local Groups will support cyclists along the way as they wind their way north as well as raise awareness of the Congress, and the Society's work locally and nationally, bringing rare diseases like haemophilia, Von Willebrands and other inherited bleeding disorders into the spotlight. You'll also be fully supported throughout the ride, both by a Cycle guide, a support driver (and of course your fellow team mates) which is bespoke for The Haemophilia Society. You'll average around 90 miles a day, arriving Saturday 19 June, in time for the WFH 2018 World Congress.
