About this event
Starting at Warren Street station and ending at Bedford Square this walking tour focuses on the architecture and history of the medical buildings that make up Central London’s NHS flagship University College Hospital including the new Proton Beam Therapy Centre. We will also take in the many imposing academic buildings around Gower Street including the neo-classical University College Wilkins Building. We will look at how these buildings act to enhance health or advance learning.
