BLS Impact Planning Workshop - Commercial Sector

Impact planning workshop focused on research uptake primarily through the Commercial route. Invitees facilitating the discussions will include:
Professor Ian Weeks (CU BLS Associate Dean Clinical Innovation) - Internationally recognised for inventions underpinning commercialization of clinical assays that have been adopted on a world-wide basis. Responsible for leading the BLS Clinical Innovation strategy.
Dr Rhodri Turner (CU Technology Transfer Officer) - based in the Research and Innovation Service team with responsibility for University's Technology Transfer activities. These activities are important for the advancement of research outcomes into commercially viable opportunities is facilitated through access to translational funding and, where appropriate, intellectual property protection.
