Impact planning workshop focused on research uptake primarily by Professional bodies/Practitioners. Invitees facilitating the discussions will include:
Professor Malcolm Mason (Professor of Clinical Oncology) - a clinician Internationally recognised for translating his research into practice guidelines. Malcom has served as a chief investigator on a number of significant UK-wide clinical trials, has wide experience of serving on professional body task groups and governmental advisory panels.
Professor Monica Busse-Morris - Theme lead and Director of Mind, Brain, Neuroscience trials within CU’s Centre for Trials Research – a physiotherapist internationally recognised for developing exercise therapeutics in neurodegenerative conditions, and currently developing and validating novel functional assessment methods and technologies to support patient monitoring to good clinical practice standards for application in ‘first-in-man’ clinical trials of ES derived stem cells in Huntington’s Disease.
