Blue Badge Style is Re-defining Disability with Style, Ticks & Awards
The third Blue Badge Style Awards will be announced on 5th October 2016, an alternative 'Michelin star'. It will include new awards for the hospitality sector. Blue Badge Style is redefining disability with style through its website and App, which help people with disabilities to lead a stylish social life.
The Blue Badge Style Awards recognise venues with exceptional style and accessibility.
Blue Badge Style reviews the venues facilities, access and style and awards between 1.5 and 3 ticks. Previous 3 tick winners include One Aldwych, Brasserie Zédel, Zetter Town House & Boundary Rooftop Bar.
Among the judges are Tina Norden, Project Director at Conran & Partners, who are also a sponsor and Christos Passas from Zaha Hadid Architects. The Awards will be made at a ceremony and cocktail party in The Pepys Room at Lutyens Restaurant, London at 6pm on 5th October. This will include a special cocktail devised by Top Mixologist Tony Conigliaro. Dress code is smart for what will be a glamorous and stylish evening.
We are encouraging social inclusion by enabling people with disabilities to go out and enjoy life. At Blue Badge Style we are passionate about helping people with disabilities to do this and have an exciting social life. As those of us with a disability know; style remains, despite disability. The Awards are about promoting stylish venues which also have good access and facilities. Too often people with disabilities don’t go out because they don’t know what to expect when they get there. We want to change that with our Awards and App.
