Blue Mind is the idea that simply being on, in, or near the water can have powerful benefits for our wellbeing—boosting both body and mind. It’s not about how far or how fast you swim, it’s about enjoying the water, the fresh air, and the company of others.
Whether you’re an experienced open water swimmer, brand new to it, or just fancy dipping your toes in, you’ll be warmly welcomed. Bring along a hot drink to enjoy afterwards—we’ll provide the cake! 🍰

BLUE MIND MEET UP SWIM RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT
Blue Mind Meet Up follows the OSS (Open Water Swimming Society) Swim Responsibility Statement. We are simply a network of people who enjoy swimming together, and all participation is entirely at your own risk.
We welcome swimmers of all abilities and aim to promote the many health and wellbeing benefits of open water swimming. However, it’s important to note:
- Off Beat Bikes and Mountain Yoga Kinlochleven cannot assume legal responsibility for swimmers or anyone joining the Blue Mind Meet Ups.
- While we love to share our passion for outdoor swimming, every swimmer must take personal responsibility for assessing the risks of any swim.
- Blue Mind Meet Ups are not guided or supervised events.
- The decision to participate is yours alone. If you are unsure about the safety of a swim—or your ability to complete it—you should not take part.
By joining a Blue Mind Meet Up, you accept that you are swimming at your own risk.
