Blue Plaques for Shepton Mallet?

This walk will be led by local historian Ian. Shepton Mallet has given birth and nurtured many people over the centuries who have had a substantial impact on human welfare or happiness. However, unlike many other town and cities, none of them have any visible recognition today. Which Sheptonians deserve it? This walk visits the birth places or abodes of some of the candidates and explores their legacies. The walk will take approximately 3 hours and is 6 miles in length. The walk will mainly be on roads.
