Nothing says spring like an ocean of beautiful bluebells – and we love spring here at the Heart of England Forest.
Join us over our charity weekend when you will be able to wander around a usually closed area of woodland, Alne Wood, where the forest floor bursts to life with colour every spring, and bask in the sight and scent of the Heart of England Forest’s very own ‘Bluebell Wood’.
Beat the crowds & save - advanced ticket purchasers get exculsive early access from 10am, before we open the admission gate at 11am, and save on gate entry prices.
We’d encourage you to remember your camera when you visit to capture the bluebells in all their glory, Alne Wood really is a sight to behold at the time of year.
All funds raised will go to support our work planting trees, creating wildlife habitats and the education of woodland environments.
Visitors will be free to wander at their leisure but must keep to the marked routes to avoid damage to the delicate flora and fauna of this ancient woodland. There are some steep areas so this walk is unfortunatley not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Visitors will also be able to wander around our way marked walking route at Haydon Way Wood which is a short drive away.
