Join Cashel’s Ranger for a guided walk through our magnificent bluebell wood.

About this event

There is nothing quite like the delicately scented, violet-blue glow of a bluebell wood in bloom.

Join our countryside ranger on a gentle, guided nature walk through our native bluebell woodland. The walk is designed to help you enjoy this this glorious natural wonder to the fullest. Perhaps you’ll learn some curiously compelling bluebell facts along the way too.

Our ranger is very friendly and happy to talk about all aspects of the woodlands here. If you have a particular interest you’d like her to include, just say the word!

The path through the Ardyle oak wood has no steps, styles, tree roots or other obstacles in the way. At its steepest the path climbs at an 11% gradient for approx. 10m. There are benches and resting points at regular intervals along the route. We will walk slowly and make sure that there’s plenty of time to take in the full majesty of the scene.

Please dress for the weather conditions, comfortable, sturdy footwear is strongly recommended . The walks will go ahead in any weather, except when weather warnings are in place. If an event is cancelled your ticket will be refunded.

For further enquiries and to allow us the opportunity to make any adjustments to enable you to take part, please contact ranger@cashel.org.uk.

We’re sorry but we cannot accommodate dogs for this event.
