Description

Part of the North York Moors National Park’s Guided Walks Programme.

Mike Nicholson’s 6-mile bluebell walk takes in Swainby, Huthwaite Green, Whorl Hill Wood (where the flowers should be in bloom) and returns via Whorlton with its church and ruined castle. Stiles and steep hills are encountered on this route. Steep ascents and descents (pavements, roads and steps).

Varied and uneven surfaces. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Packed lunch required.

Sorry, no dogs.

Our guided walks are free, although a suggested donation of £2 is welcome, helping us to care for the National Park.
