This one-off, experiential workshop invites psychotherapists, counsellors, coaches and other relational practitioners to explore the rich, complex and sometimes conflating line between professional and personal role and identity. A succinct introduction to psychodrama techniques such as role reversal, concretisation and doubling will enable a curious, creative approach, reserving judgement and making space for spontaneity and flexibility.
This means you will:
- Honour the questions and themes most prevalent for you in your life, practice and the overlaps between the two, either as a stand-alone piece of work or for deeper exploration beyond our time together
- Experience, if you haven’t already, the dynamic and embodied method of psychodrama and consider how it may add to your practice
- Create an embodied or visual representation of an aspect of your practice to share with fellow participants or, if you wish, beyond the space
This workshop is lead by Alexa Edelist
