About this event

Science & Tech • Medicine

About this event: This event will cover topics in muscle MRI of relevance to neurologists, rheumatologists and musculoskeletal radiologists.

Key topics:

  • Interpretation of muscle MRI and important anatomical landmarks
  • The utility of muscle MRI when investigating muscle pain and assessing response to therapies
  • Pattern recognition for various genetic and inflammatory myopathies
  • Tips on how to distinguish myopathic from neurogenic processes based on muscle MRI appearances

Delegates will be invited to present challenging cases during this workshop and there will be the opportunity for general discussion.

Who is this event aimed at: The specialist with an expertise in neuromuscular disorders and trainees, in both adult and paediatric medicine

This event is will be primarily useful to clinicians / researchers at specialty training or consultant level in the areas of neurology, neurophysiology, radiology, rheumatology and neuropathology.
