Event description

Description

From Carcasonne to Catan, to Jenga and Rhino Hero, board games have officially made a comeback. What could be better than playing one of these?

How about making your own?

Hosted by the wonderful people at Oxford Games, design and create a board game as a group to take home with you. Using the Museum’s displays as inspiration, your creation could be the next big thing in gaming.

We know the cost of this ticket is more than the advertised price, however using this fantastic booking website comes at a cost. We are passing on the handling fee so that you have the choice to book in advance and avoid disappointment on the day.

Each booking is for a group of up to four people. This fully interactive evening will be led by the people from Oxford Games, a local board game making company. Doors will open at 5.30pm, so you can come straight to us after work and start playing some games...or plotting your next move!

A cash bar will be available!

*Please note, althought the Micro-Museum will not be open, we do hope to still go ahead with this event. We will use some of the Museum's handling collection and photographs of objects to draw inspiration from*
