Running a voluntary group, charity, or Community Interest Company (CIC) comes with important responsibilities—but you don’t have to figure it all out on your own! Our session will give you the knowledge and confidence to lead successfully.
Clare and Charlotte's workshop will walk you through:
✅ Your key legal duties and responsibilities
✅ Best practices for governance and financial oversight
✅ How to avoid common pitfalls and protect yourself legally
✅ Practical tips for running an effective and compliant organisation
This workshop will be a mixture of presentation, interactive activities, and group discussion. It is aimed at those working in Stockport and for newcomers and those wanting a refresher on what it means to be part of a board.
Please note the link to attend this online session will be shared out a few days before the session takes place.
