Join us for this creative workshop and be inspired by our Renaissance-era books, then try your hand at simple book-making techniques.

About this event

Printer’s marks, special bindings, illumination: the humble book can comprise a fascinating array of elements. Join us to learn more by examining Renaissance-era books from our special collections, then try your hand at simple book-making techniques.

This event will take place in the Vernon Castle Room, Norfolk Heritage Centre (on the second floor of the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library).

Suitable for unaccompanied children aged 8-14.

This event is free, but booking is essential.

We have an exciting and varied events programme of workshops, talks and children's activities as well as offering one to one research advice from Norfolk Record Office Staff.
