Event description
PULBOROUGH to PALLINGHAM annual boat rally.

About this Event

A Public Rally so no reason why those of you WITH YOUR OWN BOAT and KIT and transport should not take part as a “Group of Friends”.

Sign up online direct with the organisers, make your own way there and then enjoy an unusual and interesting trip. Please note you can only take part in this trip if you have your own kit to paddle in!!

If you would like to participate please follow the following two part procedure.

Book your place online at https://weyarun.org.uk/events38 and obtain confirmation.

Once you’ve obtained such confirmation then book a place online on the CAP website.

This will purely indicate to us who is going on the trip, NOT constitute a booking as such but enable us to email around before the event suggesting meeting up details with your fellow CAP members.

Ian has kindly undertaken to co-ordinate things on the day, so that you can all Paddle as a Happy / Cappy group together 😊

The CAP website bookings for this trip have / will be cleared, so do please add yourself on if participating.

Please book on the event website soonest and then register on the CAP website no later than Weds 15th May so Ian can co-ordinate.

To reiterate this is NOT now a CLUB trip, no Leadership, Transport, Provision of Boats or Kit or Responsibility will be provided by CAP.

Ian or I will email a few days prior with meet up suggestions, although the main paddle starts at Pulborough the suggestion is that boats that don’t need the slipway, ie all of you, should start at Stopham Bridge, the recent venue for our Easter Paddle, which will also make for an easier and shorter paddle !

You will NOT however be able to use the riverside parking area that we used at Easter, that will be blocked off for use by the organisers.

I’m sorry if this affects your plans but a rare case of all the leadership team for once having other commitments, their own lives !

Hoping many of you will still take part in Kayaks, Canoes or even SUP’s ! and have a wonderful afternoon out !
