For us, simply turning our sofas into trenches was not enough. Which was why we forty-six writers (and more than forty-six translators and editors) came together to bring you a chapter a day of what could become the defining book of the great lockdown.

Join us on 3 December 2020 at 6pm for the virtual launch of Bode Inspiratório / Escape Goat, the serial novel created by 46 Portuguese-language writers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The book has now been published in a bilingual Portuguese-English edition by Relógio d'Água.

Our host, Daniel Hahn, himself one of the translators, will talk to some of this incredible project's other participants about their role in making this vision a reality. There will also be readings from the book.
