Body-is-Leaking
Body-is-Leaking unfolds as a techno-acoustic spell, cast into our porous bodies through sounds of leaking from and to each other. This work proposes a posthuman cosmology where water is not passive matter but an agent of memory, transformation, and relation.
The audience is welcomed into an immersive, meditative space shaped by sonic water textures, ethereal layers of vocals, and spoken word. As the performance unfolds, it invites deep listening and culminates in a shared act: drinking a specially prepared “elusive liquid” mix, turning sonic communion into an intimate, sensory ritual of embodiment.
Ambient soundscapes merge with tactile experience. The concept of becoming a body of water is actualised through this futuristic, otherworldly ritual.
This unique occasion is produced by Maisongb in collaboration with our sponsors — Drink Sahara, Fitch & Leeds, and Monin — who have co-created a special drink, available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions, as part of the ritual act. An open bar will also be available throughout the evening.

Entry
As part of the London Design Festival, we offer free entry to individuals holding a London Design Festival 2025 pass. Please select the appropriate ticket type when booking and be ready to show your pass at the entrance.
Venue
art’otel London Hoxton is an unforgettable art-inspired destination, hosting regular exhibitions and events. The venue also offers free entry to Elusive Boundaries, an exhibition that forms part of the London Design Festival.
Drinks
A mixology ritual will be featured as part of the event, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions of the drink being served.
Opening time
Doors open at 7 pm. Performance starts at 8 pm, Please note: no entry will be permitted after 8.15 pm.
