Citymoves Dance Agency are delighted to be supported by SMHAF to host a series of workshops using creativity to engage with participants at Rape Crisis Grampian. The project wishes to loosely use the festival’s theme “Comfort and Disturb” as a stimulus. Drama Therapist Susan McQuaker and Dance Development Manager Lynn Shaw will engage individuals in somatic movement, drama theatre practices and other art forms. Using “Body Mapping” as a starting point the workshops will explore where we can sense our comfort zones and how can we find safety within ourselves and around others.
Robert Gordon University mental health students will engage in workshops to develop their skills in using creative therapeutic methods, that encourage artistic expression.
