Description

We will, we will, rock you! An amazing outdoor cinema experience in the spacious grounds of Midhurst Rother College, Midhurst, West Sussex with a showing of Bohemian Rhapsody (12A). Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound and culminates in their iconic performance at Live Aid. Brought to you by MRC Parents in association with AMK Chauffeur Drive Ltd, Arnold's Opticians, Carpet 1st Midhurst, Jackson-Stops Midhurst @JSMidhurst, Lord Egremont, Progress International, The Boltini Trust and Waitrose Petersfield to raise money for our school.

Hot food, sweets, popcorn, snacks, cash licenced bar, ice cream from Dylan's Icecream and music before the film starts. As well as a chance to purchase a ticket to win our hamper on the night, with wine kindly donated by Upperton Vineyard, chocolates from Noble and Stace Chocolatiers @noble_and_stace, a picnic blanket donated by Austin's Home Hardware, along with a double seater camping chair, which is yours for the evening to ensure you are nice and comfortable whilst watching the film!

Limited VIP seating and car parking available.

Early bird tickets are £12 per person until 30th June 2019 and £15 after that date and on the door, if tickets are still available. Fee applies to tickets purchased on line. They can be bought in person (without the fee) from the beginning of April at The Upholsterer in Midhurst or from Midhurst Rother College reception. We have a limited number of tickets so please purchase your tickets early.

VIP upgrade is available, we have a limited number of camping chairs available so book these early, they will save you carrying your own and each purchase will include a voucher for one free drink.


Gates open 7pm, film starts at 8.30pm

If you don't have a VIP ticket then please bring a blanket, camping chair or beanbag and watch Bohemian Rhapsody on a cinema screen under the stars!

Picnics are allowed, NO GLASS please (our children use the field for sports)

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
The event will go ahead even if it's raining but we are hoping for a nice dry night under the stars.
No seating provided unless you have VIP tickets. Blankets, bean bags and camping chairs are allowed.

Disabled parking free on site (blue badge holders only), please book in advance, disabled toilet facilities are available.

Limited on site parking can be purchased in advance, NO parking on site unless booked in advance

No Dogs allowed, except assistance dogs.

Sound and Visual recording of the film is ILLEGAL.

Please leave quietly at the end of the event out of consideration to nearby residents, and place all litter in the bins provided on the way out.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No minimum age requirements, the film is a 12a, we require children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking at £3 a car is available onsite IN ADVANCE only. Parking is free for blue badge holders, please book in advance and have blue badge on the night disaplyed in your car. Parking is available in the North Street carpark and The Grange carpark. If parking on the side of the road please park legally and carefully.

What can I bring into the event?

Unless booking VIP camping chair seating in advance, please bring seating with you. If you are bringing chairs, please be mindful of others when setting up and we may ask you to move if it blocks the view of other people. In the event of rain then chairs are better rather than blankets. Also if it rains coats and wet weather clothing are better than umbrellas as these can block the view for others.

The temperature can drop when the sun goes down so please bring blankets and we suggest warm clothing.

Your printed ticket for us to scan.

Please bring ID if you are aged over 18 and want to buy alcohol but are lucky enough to look under 25!

You are welcome to bring your own picnics (although we will have lots of lovely food and drink for sale onsite), NO GLASS, BBQs or gazebos allowed.

Please bring cash for the bar and food.

We recommend bringing a torch for use AFTER the film has finished.

There is NO SMOKING OR VAPING allowed on site at all.
