About Angelica Lopez

Renowned for being a benchmark of Colombian music on the international stage, Angélica López brings her unmistakable voice and artistry to Boleros y Sabores – Second Edition. Recipient of prestigious honors such as the Civic Medal of Cartagena de Indias and Best Artist of the Year at the Latin UK Awards, Angélica has captivated audiences worldwide with her powerful yet tender interpretations.

Her career includes collaborations with iconic artists such as Willie Colón, Rey Ruiz, Herencia de Timbiquí, Fruko, and Mayte Montero (the legendary gaita player of Carlos Vives). With her acclaimed debut album Madremonte (2016), Angélica began forging a unique sound that fuses Afro-Colombian rhythms with Pop, Rock, and Urban influences, creating an unforgettable musical experience.

For this special evening, Angélica López invites you to indulge in an intimate journey through boleros, Latin passion, and soulful melodies, perfectly paired with Paladar’s fine gastronomy.

About Jose Rubio Guevara

José Rubio-Guevara, Colombian Executive Chef at Paladar, brings international culinary expertise from New York, Miami, and London to the heart of Boleros y Sabores. As a co-founder and creative force behind Paladar's entirely gluten-free and region-spanning menu—structured around “The Sea, The Farm, and The Land”—José honors Latin American traditions while elevating them with modern flair. His innovative dishes, featured in BBC Good Food, Restaurant Magazine, and BBC Radio 4, promise to complement an afternoon where music and fine gastronomy converge.”

About Paladar

Nestled in the heart of SE1, just steps away from Southwark and Elephant & Castle, Paladar is London’s hidden gem for Latin American dining. More than a restaurant, it is a vibrant cultural hub where food, art, and hospitality converge.

With its intimate spaces – from the contemporary Madremonte Room to the colorful Manguito Biche Room and the elegant Cartagena Room – Paladar offers a warm, inviting setting that feels both refined and soulful.

At the core of Paladar is a celebration of Latin America’s culinary richness: a fully gluten-free menu inspired by the region’s diverse landscapes – the sea, the farm, and the land – brought to life by Executive Chef José Rubio-Guevara. Beyond its innovative cuisine, Paladar is known for its carefully curated wine list featuring Latin American vineyards, art exhibitions by Latin American artists, and its role as a meeting place for cultural experiences.

Paladar isn’t just a restaurant – it’s an experience of Latin America in London.
