Description

For Artsmark schools who have attended an Artsmark Development Day and are now drafting your Statement of Commitment, we invite you to attend an Artsmark Support session. This is an opportunity for you to bring your Statement of Commitment to the session, whether it is a 'work in progress' or nearly complete. During this session, we will help you to revisit your:

  • Self-Assessment (please bring any notes you have on this with you)
  • Priorities for arts and cultural education in your school
  • Statement of Commitment document (please bring a draft with you)
  • Action plan

You can access the Self-Assessment Framework and Statement of Commitment template here if you need to: http://www.artsmark.org.uk/about/artsmark-award-document-downloads

You will also have the opportunity to gain insight to other approaches, receive feedback from peers and Curious Minds advocate - Viv West, enabling you to progress onto the next stage of your Artsmark journey.

The session will be structured, but informal and supportive. Please remember to bring a copy of your Statement of Commitment with you on the day.

Our vision is for a future where being creative and experiencing brilliant culture is a regular aspect of EVERY child’s life and learning.

Fuelled by curiosity, we work to make high-quality creative and cultural learning opportunities available to all children and young people, both in and out of school. We do this by connecting teachers and youth workers with artists and creative practitioners; giving them access to information, expertise, space and resources to facilitate collaboration and innovation in the field of creative and cultural education.
