Can children attend?

Whilst the content is more suitable for attendees aged 13 and above, if the youngster is mature and passionate about ancient Egypt they will enjoy the day. All minors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a full paying adult.

Are there discounts for Students and Children?

Bolton Archaeology and Egyptology Society are supporting a £10 student and young person discount. To request a discount code please email secretary@boltonaes.co.uk. Student and young person ID will be required to redeem your ticket on the day.

Question 3

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

If you need to cancel your booking the amount of refund will depend on the notice given. These are as follows: Up to and including 23rd August (100% Refund), Between 24th August and 5th September (50% Refund), After 6th September and no-show (No Refund).

Is there parking on site?

Accepted Answer

There is no all-day parking at the library and museum, however the NCP Octagon Multistorey is just opposite the building and various other car parks are only a short walk away.

Question 5

Do you cater for vegans or attendees with allergies?

Accepted Answer

Yes we can accommodate attendees who are vegan and those with allergies. It is important that you tell us your requirements at the time of booking, we cannot accommodate these on the day.

Question 6

Is the venue accessible to those with mobility needs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is ramp access to the entrance of the building, and all levels of the building are accessible via lifts.

Question 7

Can you accommodate attendees that are hard of hearing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have specialist portable induction loops for those that need them. If you would like to make use of this equipment please let us know at the time of booking.
