Book a Tree - Worcester Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival 2025

Your tree must be a maximum of 8ft tall and 3ft wide, because of limited space within the Cloister and Chapter House.

Your display should be Christmas Tree shaped. In the past people have used tepees, bookshelves, stepladders or car seats to create a tree shape. We encourage participants to be as creative as possible. If you would like some inspiration take a look at our Facebook page for a gallery of 2023 trees!

We have a limited number of people setting up in each time slot to ensure there is enough room for everyone to set up safely and have enough space around them. We therefore request that you do not change your set up slot and think carefully before booking.

Decorations can be made of anything except clay or salt dough, as these dissolve over time. Decorations must not contain any misleading advertising or promotions. Decorations must not be offensive, bias or partisan to any particular political group and must be appropriate display in the Cathedral.

As an Eco Cathedral we encourage you to dispose of your tree responsibly. We cannot dispose of/recycle your tree for you but there are many local organisations/ charities that can assist in recycling your tree.

Only LED low voltage electric tree 'fairy' lights' are permitted. Please do not use flashing lights or musical lights. We will PAT test your lights on set up day. If you use flashing lights we will have to remove them and ask you to provide an alternative.
