The IAG service at Harlow College gives you the opportunity to book a confidential face to face appointment with a qualified advisor.

We ensure all advice provided is impartial and confidential enabling users to make informed choices as to the most appropriate route for their personal career development.

Information, Advice and Guidance is available on a range of issues to include:

• Information on retraining and changing careers.

• Different ways to search and apply for jobs, e.g. completing application forms, writing or updating CV’s, interview skills.

• Reviewing job profiles to include looking at exact tasks, skills and experience required for the job.

• Identify relevant training needs and support with enrolling on courses.

• Provide advice and guidance on ways to enable career progression.

• Support with creating a careers development plan.

• Sign posting and referring to other relevant support agencies.
