Book at Lunchtime welcomes the Oxford-Uppsala Culture & Creativity Research Cluster to discuss their pamphlet Conversations on Creativity vol. 1: Monstrosity.
The Cluster is a group of researchers from the universities of Oxford and Uppsala, who have been meeting for a year to nurture joint projects and generate new ideas. One output of their collaboration is this pamphlet, a collection of work from the academic to the creative, all on the subject of 'monstrosity'.
Associate Professor Kathryn Eccles (Oxford Internet Institute) and Professor Matthew Reynolds (English) will discuss the process behind the pamphlet alongside colleagues from Uppsala University. There will be a reading by Professor Wes Williams (MML) and a performance by Dr Robert Laidlow.
TORCH Book at Lunchtime is open to everyone whether they are associated with Oxford University or not. We welcome people from every walk of life to our discussions at Radcliffe Humanities.
Wednesday 29 October. 12.30pm lunch served, 12.45pm discussion. Seminar Room 63 in The Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford OX2 6GG.
