Join bookbinder Susan Connon to create your own unique book, perfect for keeping mementoes of special occasions. You will have a number of coverings to choose from as well as freedom to select the shape & style of your book.
What prior experience do I need?
You don't need any prior experience of book binding for this workshop.
Will I get a lunchbreak?
Yes. We usually break for an hour's lunch at around 12:30. You are also welcome to bring refreshments into the Education Suite. Participants on workshops will receive 20% hot and cold drinks in the Maritime Cafe on the day of their workshop.
What should I bring to the workshop?
We will provide all the materials you need for this workshop. If you have any special paper you would like to try using please feel free to bring it along but it is absolutely not necessary to buy anything specifically for this workshop.
Who is the artist leading the workshop?

Where is the workshop?
The workshop is in the Education Suite at Aberdeen Maritime Museum. It is on the first level of the building and is accessible for people with limited mobility. If you are unsure where it is, please ask a member of our Front of House team who will be happy to help.
