To welcome all book lovers of different reading preferences, our monthly book pick is simply a conversation starter - whether you’ve read it or not, our discussion topics go far beyond the book, touching on a variety of themes and interests. Our gathering is NOT about analysing the book like a seminar, but more about connecting, sharing ideas, and enjoying a relaxed, social evening with fellow book lovers over drinks.

📚 Book Recommendation of the Month:
The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
Synopsis (without spoilers):
As an 1890 philosophical novel and Gothic thriller, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde explores the seductive power of youth, beauty, moral corruption, and repressed sexuality. As the young and handsome Dorian Gray indulges in a life of pleasure, vanity, and increasingly dark choices, his once-perfect portrait begins to reveal the grotesque consequences of his actions. Set in the decadent world of late Victorian London, this novel remains one of Wilde’s most enduring and unsettling works.

Our book club sessions are a great way to engage in lively and friendly discussions, share insights, and meet fellow book lovers, sometimes the author as well.
Our meeting will be held in a room exclusively reserved for us at a private member's club in South Kensington, just steps away from Gloucester Road station. We keep each gathering small - fewer than 10 participants - to ensure everyone has a chance to join and enjoy.
