Truth in Person’ by Fr Luke Bell OSB

In a world increasingly dependent upon technology for information and procedures, a longing for human persons—once ubiquitous, now often hidden behind screens—grows deeper and more urgent with each passing day. This book argues that it is only through persons that we can approach truth, which transcends what can be computed in rational analysis.

Flyweight’: Poems by Maggie Sawkins

Bristling with the taut kinetic energy of bodies in extremis, ‘Flyweight’ contains poems inspired by the writer’s various concerns, including female boxing, sibling rivalry and what it means to be human. In the words of Johnny Cash, ‘My arms are too short to fight with God.’
