The Revd Dr Jenny Morgans is an Anglican priest and has been the Chaplain at King’s College London’s Denmark Hill campus since 2019. She also teaches theological reflection and faith development at St Augustine’s College of Theology in Kent. She has previously worked at the University of Sheffield chaplaincy and for a parish in Lambeth. Originally from South Wales, Jenny now lives in Brighton and enjoys swimming in the sea.

Based on Jenny’s PhD thesis (Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, 2020), Christian Women at University: Faith, Feminism and Feeling at Home (SCM Press, 2025) examines the intersectional identities and faith stories of 26 Christian emerging women studying at university in England. While both their gender and their faith meant that they often encountered barriers to feeling ‘at home’ at university, those identities also provided ways for the women to grow while studying, allowing them to feel safe enough to be themselves and even to begin to explore the breadth and depth of Christianity.

The Revd Dr Ellen Clark-King has been Dean of King’s College London since December 2020. She was Chaplain and Fellow at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, from 1995 to 2000, and then spent time in parish, cathedral and higher education settings in the UK, Canada, and the US, before coming to King’s. Her PhD in feminist practical theology explored the spirituality of white working-class women in the north of England.

Professor Kristin Aune is Professor of Sociology of Religion at the Centre for Trust, Peace & Social Relations at Coventry University. She has undertaken pioneering work on gender, religion and feminism, and her main research area is now religion and higher. She was Co-Investigator on 'Christianity and the University Experience in Contemporary England', a three-year AHRC and ESRC project with Durham and Chester universities exploring Christian students’ experiences of university and how faith shapes, and is shaped by, university life. From 2021 to 2023 she co-directed the project 'Building positive relationships among university students across religion and worldview diversity'.

The Revd Naomi Nixon is the CEO of the Student Christian Movement, a national community of students committed to an inclusive, progressive and radical approach to the Christian faith. A Church of England priest with a background of working in education, she led a chaplaincy in Further Education, taught youth work and later ran staff development for the clergy of the diocese of Coventry. She is finishing a PhD researching Further Education Chaplaincy.

The Revd Angela Tarry is the Anglican Chaplain at Loughborough University. She was awarded The Tony Palmer Memorial Award in Christian Spirituality in 2024 for her MA dissertation, ‘How can Sleep be Embraced as a Spiritual Practice?’. She is currently undertaking a DProf at the University of Chester in Theology and Religion, where her research focuses on Christian women’s faith experiences of sleep.
