It's Happy Valley!

You are invited to attend Ross McGill's 12th book publication; and 3rd annual book launch at his home in West Yorkshire - two doorstop locations away from the popular TV show, Happy Valley.

It could be glorious sunshine, blowing a gale or pelting down with rain... (see the range of views)

There will be music, ice cream, BBQ food, drinks, plus an early 'teaser' copy of Ross's book - it doesn't go to print until mid-September 2024.

There is a Premier Inn hotel in the centre of Halifax (if you want to sleep over) and you can reach Halifax train station directly from Leeds, Manchester and London Kings Cross. The Piece Hall is also worth a visit (next to the station) and the venue is a 5 minute taxi ride.

There is plenty of parking should you need it...

Ross Morrison McGill is also known as @TeacherToolkit.

Ross works with pupils, teachers and school leaders across the world, supporting teaching and learning, workload and mental health.

He is currently studying for his EdD at Cambridge University and is a former deputy headteacher, teaching for over 25 years and working in some of the most challenging secondary schools in London.

In 2015, he was nominated as one of the ‘500 Most Influential People in Britain’ by The Sunday Times as a result of being most influential in the field of education. He remains the only classroom teacher to feature to this day.
