This Autumn, Fortnum & Mason will be launching an extra-special collaboration with much loved British illustrator and author Charlie Mackesy, to celebrate the release of his new book Always Remember: The Boy the Mole, the Fox, the Horse and the Storm. As part of the celebrations, you’re invited to meet Charlie for a book signing on 9th October.
British artist, illustrator and author Charlie Mackesy - who is a big fan of Fortnum’s and even described us as the “cake capital of the world” - began his career as a cartoonist, before becoming a book illustrator. His award-winning work has been featured in books, galleries, school classrooms, hospital wards, prisons and public spaces around the world. His first book, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse was published in October 2019 and has now reached over 10 million readers around the world.
The book signing will take place in the Library and Food & Drink Studio on the Third Floor at our Piccadilly home, and we’ll be offering three ticket options; along with your ticket for the signing and the book, you can also add on the exclusive Book Bag, and a special bundle including the Mole plush, our exclusive Book Bag, and a Fortnum's Strawberry Preserve. The Mole cake will also be available to purchase from the Food & Drink Studio that day as well as via the Parlour and Patisserie counter.
