Bookable Tour Portland Works Heritage Open Days Festival

Join this facinating tour of our Grade 2* listed heritage building. Opened in 1879 as an intergrated cutlery works by R.F.Mosley. The building is relatively intact and presents as it would have done to those working here in the late C19th. One of our volunteer guides will take you round to view the building not often open to the public. Find out how it became the first place to make stainless steel knives and the characters involved. Learn about the architecture and renovation work carried out by our group of building volunteers.
