Come get creative with us!
During this 90-minutes workshop you will create your own junk journal using Japanese stab binding and a selection of colourful paper stocks, printed papers and vintage ephemera. All materials and tools will be provided, alongside with a useful instruction sheet with step by step instructions to help you along the way, and you will leave with your new notebooks ready to fill in.


What is a junk journal?

A junk journal is a handmade notebook made of different types of paper, as well as recycled materials like music sheets, envelopes, maps, or patterned papers. You are welcome to bring any materials you would like to include in your own journal on the day.



Who is this for?
This workshop is suitable for adults of all levels keen to learn about bookbinding in a relaxing and welcoming environment, no previous experience and skills are necessary. Our workshops welcome everyone, from complete novices to seasoned creatives keen to nourish their own practice.



Transport, Location & Accessibility
The nearest train station is Queens Park. There is on street parking around the venue. The closest Nextbike Station is number 8448, it is located on Balvicar Street. The space where the workshop will be taking place is step free and wheelchair accessible from ground level on Pollokshaws Road. However, please note the toilets are not wheelchair accessible, they are located downstairs and only accessible via a flight of stairs. Cancellation policy
Tickets will only be refundable up to 7 days prior to the event taking place. Tickets are non-exchangeable. Please note Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend the event after the deadline for refund, please let us know via email us at hello@concretenature.studio so your ticket can be re-allocated to someone on our waiting list.
