Join us in London for a fun and beginner-friendly 90-minute taster of the saddle-stitch book-binding technique.
Bring along your flat papers, kids’ drawings, test prints, collage off-cuts or colourful cards – or simply use our materials – and transform them into a unique handmade notebook.
What you’ll learn & make:
- How to choose or cut your covers
- How to fold internal pages (we provide high-quality 130gsm paper)
- How to punch and stitch your notebook
- How to complete a final trim for a polished finish
- You’ll start by making a small A6 notebook, then use your off-cuts (or ours) to create a larger A5 (or 2×A6) finished book.
What’s included:
- A small A6 notebook made during the demonstration
- Finished A5 (or 2×A6) notebook you make from your off-cuts
- 8 sheets of high-quality internal paper (plus 2 for the demo book)
- Access to coloured card, collage scraps and all necessary tools and materials
- Relaxed, friendly environment (no prior experience needed)
What to bring (optional):
- Flat papers, off-cuts, colourful cards, children’s drawings, prints – approx A4 or A5
- Your own materials give you more choice, but don’t worry if you don’t have any – we’ll provide plenty
