Building Community Through Story, Song, and Rhyme Sharing - join us for a Bookbug Shared Practice Event in West Dunbartonshire.

You're invited to join us for a Bookbug Shared Practice Event in West Dunbartonshire, where you can find out more about how Bookbug is being used by a range of practitioners in communities, education settings and family homes throughout your area and beyond. Share ideas, hear about innovative projects, get inspired and recharge your Bookbug battery!

This event is open to everyone who includes Bookbug in their work or is interested in hearing more about how they can be involved in Bookbug in their local area, whether you gift the Bookbug bags, lead Bookbug Sessions, use Bookbug in family homes, or have attended a Bookbug training course in the past.

Places at this event are funded by Scottish Book Trust and there is no cost for participants.

9.30 – 10:00 Tea, coffee and registration (Gilmour Suite, Alexandria Library)

10:00 – 10:10 Welcome and Warm-up from Scottish Book Trust

10:10 – 10:40 National Bookbug Programme Update - EY Team, Scottish Book Trust

10:40– 11:15 Discussion on songs, rhymes and book suggestions, led by Scottish Book Trust

11:15 – 11:40 Tea and coffee break

11:40 – 12:10 Shared Practice Presentations by local co-ordinators/practitioners

12:10 – 12:40 Round table discussion

12:40 – 13:00 Evaluation and close

13:00 - 13:45 Lunch!
