About the event
Long gone are the days of one job for life. Top professionals today are able to apply their skills to a range of industries, helping them to become the best in their chosen field. In an environment where adapting to new markets and industries is the new normal, how do you go about transitioning into a new role? What are the best ways to gain new expertise? Does the publishing industry have a skills gap to fill?
BookMachine have invited three expert speakers to share their thoughts and expertise, at this lively evening event. Join us to learn more, whilst meeting a selection of interested skilled professionals from across the creative industries.
Stephanie Hall is Resourcing Manager at HarperCollins and looks after the resourcing strategy across the business. She is also responsible for the successful and established graduate scheme, as well as partnerships with universities and FE/HE colleges to bring in a diverse group of top entry-level talent for the business.
Jon Ingold is the co-founder of inkle, a narrative game studio based in Cambridge. Their recent title, 80 DAYS, was named TIME magazine’s #1 Game of the Year 2014, as well as one of the Telegraph’s novels of the year.
Louise Rice is Executive Producer at Touchpress and oversees both the production team and the business development team. She is responsible for bringing extraordinary content to all of our apps and ensuring that each one is beautiful and inspiring.
