Our series of ‘Books in Focus’ sessions focuses on artists’ books and archive material held in the special collections of the National Galleries of Scotland. This session will look at the extraordinary work of the printmaker, painter and poet William Blake (1757-1827), including his illustrations to Edward Young’s poem Night Thoughts, the engraved Illustrations to the Book of Job and the magnificent watercolour Job Confessing his Presumption to God who Answers from the Whirlwind.

This event will take place in the Reading Room at Modern Two
