Books Under the Boardwalk is a new and exciting event organised by local authors for local authors and publishers. Self-published writers of all genres often find it difficult to secure retail space for their books. Many opt for Amazon but some authors think there should be other alternatives. So Books Under the Boardwalk was born. We authors rarely get the opportunity to speak to fans, potential readers and even one another, in person. This I know from experience, is a very enjoyable experience for all parties involved, as writing in the main, is a lone occupation.

Clydebank Writers have been in existence for over twenty-five years. Venues and faces may have changed, but we constantly strive to engage with our readers. Words can be magical: books, songs, films and plays all transport us to a world in which to lose ourselves for a few hours.
