Managing a Successful and Fulfilling Workplace
This three hour workshop, split into two sessions, will introduce delegates to the world of Goal Setting, Mind Mastery and how to write a simple but highly effective Strategy. Less than 3% of people set goals yet it is clear that goal setting creates a clear process for understanding what we need to do to become successful and fulfilled and how to manage successful and fulfilled teams. By setting Goals in to an Action Plan and a Strategy, this workshop will also give delegates the tools for action and delivering their own goals and focus on how to deliver these to their teams.
The first part of the session will introduce delegates to the need for action and how inaction causes procrastination, paralysis, poor time management and results in a cycle of failure. Delegates will then be introduced to Goal Setting and Action Planning as an antidote to procrastination and a way of becoming more motivated, having and setting clear targets and producing a clear pathway to success and fulfilment. This session will also introduce delegates to the ideas around Mind Mastery and how simple techniques can silence the negative words in our heads (or Mind Monkeys) that are telling us we cannot change and succeed and your teams that they cannot change or succeed.
The second part will introduce delegates to a process that applies the lessons from Session One and turns it in a plan that creates action for success in their workforce. Delegates will be taken on a journey from Goal Setting, Action Planning to capturing this in an effective Strategy. A facilitated session will enable delegates to apply these principles to their own workplace and how to write their own strategy.
Delegates will leave the Workshop with a draft Strategy and the tools to use this to enthuse and motivate their own workplaces and to bring more success and fulfilment.
The session will be delivered by Nick Briggs whose career includes time spent in the rail industry and working for a local economic partnership where he worked with businesses from the public, private and third sectors to improve performance and productivity through effective strategy writing. Nick has carried this experience into the coaching sector where he is now an Authorised YB12 (Your Best 12 months) Corporate and Personal Coach and has recently formed Better Jobs Better People.
