AS A SELF EMPLOYED BUSINESS, DO YOU KNOW WHAT RECORDS YOU SHOULD KEEP?
MORE IMPORTANTLY, HOW CAN YOU USE THE INFORMATION TO MANAGE AND GROW YOUR BUSINESS?
This event is aimed at self employed businesses who want to make sure that they are keeping the correct records that they need to provide information to allow completion of Tax Returns when they fall due.
You should also get an idea of how you can use the information to measure performance and plan the future direction of your business.
The workshop is run by Emily Miller of My Clear Accounts, a local accounting and bookkeeping service business.
Emily has worked for four FTSE companies across different functions within their finance departments, and has held several management and leadership positions. She became CIMA (Chartered Institute for Management Accounting) qualified in 2005 and is now a Member in Practice for CIMA.
As a CIMA member Emily differs from the more traditional high-street firms of accountants in that she is specifically trained to operate from within the business. She combines a higher level of commercial awareness alongside the more traditional accounting skills.
